Over the past five years Marcia Huyer has explored memory through its physical manifestation. Memory's ability to transform, disappear, and form from nothing has been the source for Huyer's installation based practice. Her all encompassing installations envelop the viewer within a reflective and imaginative environment, quite separate from the world outside.

Huyer graduated from the Ontario College of Art and Design. Her work has received numerous awards and has been published in ArtCity Magazine. She has shown her work internationally and has participated in residencies in both Scotland and Italy.
