DEVON KNOWLES (born 1977 in London, Ontario) completed her B.A.,Honours degree in Studio Arts in 2001 from the University of Guelph. Knowles continued her practice in Toronto until she accepted a position as a MFA candidate at the University of Victoria. She has exhibited in a variety of spaces with an emphasis on site-specific installations. Her work has been featured in Toronto at Solo Exhibition, Art Metropole, Harborfront Centre, in conjuction with Mercer Union and various community art sites. Her first solo New York exhibition was in 2006 held at HQ, Brooklyn, NY.
